What is available?

Foreign Currency

Over 70 currencies are available to members for collection in our Service Centres three days after you place your order. It is always important when you venture abroad to have some local currency. Taxis, porters, even a cup of coffee usually require cash, so now with the help of Police & Nurses Credit Society you can be prepared. Buying before you leave will save you from paying the often higher rates charged at airport exchange bureaus.

Travellers Cheques

American Express travellers cheques are the world's most respected, accepted and easily replaceable brand if lost or stolen. Seven different currencies are available, being accepted at over a million locations globally and offer a worldwide refund service.

Need to send money overseas?

International Foreign Currency Drafts

American Express can issue drafts in 16 different currencies. Particularly useful for sending small amounts of money overseas. Drafts are an economical and secure way to send money when the beneficiary's banking details are not available.

Telegraphic Transfers

Telegraphic Transfers are one of the quickest and most secure methods of executing payments abroad if you have banking details of the recipient. With a Telegraphic Transfer, the money is electronically sent to the benificiary's bank. The beneficiary generally receives payment 24-72 hours after the transaction has been initiated.
