Police & Nurses has won the Australian Banking & Finance “Best Credit Union” award for the second year in a row.

Australian Banking & Finance (AB&F) magazine is the premier trade magazine for the banking and finance industry in Australia. Each year the AB&F runs an awards program, where their readers nominate and vote on awards in a number of different categories. The awards recognise and reward excellence, achievement and service to the sector by individuals and organisations. Winning this award means that for the past two years Police & Nurses has been recognised by its peers in the banking and finance industry as an outstanding organisation. Considering there are 130 credit societies and credit unions in Australia we're very happy to have won this award for two consecutive years.

The prestigous Best of the Best awards are now in their 7th year, and each year Money magazine is able to reward the best and most innovative products by giving them the recognition they deserve.

Police & Nurses Credit Society has been lucky to have won two awards in the 2008 awards:

• Silver in the Best Investment Account - Non Bank category for the Cash Management Account
• Silver in the Best Term Deposit - Short Term - Non bank category

The winners of these awards are chosen based on research completed by the top research companies in Australia which proves what we already know, our products are the best of the best.

The Online Banking Review each year awards Play of the Year to financial institutions for various different categories within the online banking world.

At the end of 2007 Police & Nurses was awarded Play fo the Year for the best high interest savings account launch for our new FairSaver Transaction Account. The Police & Nurses FairSaver account won this award over the BankWest Hero Account so we're very happy.
