In June 2010 Police & Nurses was named the best non-bank lender for First Home Buyers in Western Australia by Canstar Cannex.

Canstar Cannex is an independent research body that reviews banking products across the industry. Canstar Cannex announced the winners of the First Home Buyer award after analysing more than 400 mortgage products from 115 different lenders around Australia. 

In 2008 Police & Nurses won the Australian Banking & Finance “Best Credit Union” award for the second year running.

Australian Banking & Finance (AB&F) magazine is the premier trade magazine for the banking and finance industry in Australia. Each year the AB&F runs an awards program, where their readers nominate and vote on awards in a number of different categories. The awards recognise and reward excellence, achievement and service to the sector by individuals and organisations.

Winning this award means that Police & Nurses has been recognised by its peers in the banking and finance industry as an outstanding organisation. Considering there are over 100 credit societies and credit unions in Australia we're very happy to have won this award in two consecutive years.

The prestigous Best of the Best awards are now in their 7th year, and each year Money magazine rewards the best and most innovative products, giving them the recognition they deserve.

Police & Nurses Credit Society won two awards in 2008:

• Silver in the Best Investment Account - Non Bank category for the Cash Management Account
• Silver in the Best Term Deposit - Short Term Deposit - Non bank category

The winners of these awards are chosen based on research completed by the top research companies in Australia. This proves what we already know; our products are the best of the best.
